The Eagles have suffered massive losses in free agency after Josh Sweat (Cardinals), Milton Williams (Patriots), Isaiah Rodgers (Vikings), and Mekhi Becton (Chargers) all departed over the past few days. With those losses comes the satisfaction of knowing that compensatory picks will help ease the blow. Tim McManus of ESPN reports that Philadelphia will earn four 2026 selections, bringing their total for next year to 12 overall.
The reigning champs might take a step back in 2025, but as Adam Schefter noted earlier this week, Howie Roseman has the draft capital to maintain the current and create another Super Bowl window. While appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Schefter highlighted the 20+ picks Philadelphia will have over the next two NFL drafts, setting the franchise up for another run that could take the organization multiple appearances in the big game between now and 2030.
As Schefter pointed out, Philadelphia has eight picks currently in 2025, and the 12 they'll have for 2026 bring the two-year total to 23 picks.
The Eagles are stacking cash for Jalen Carter, Cam Jurgens, Jordan Davis, Reed Blankenship, Cooper DeJean, and Quinyon Mitchell.
