Eagles best team in football with Vick

I know I know...No one wants him here...But he is a talent that is so far advanced than most players. He wills their offense to move the ball.....He cant be stopped when he runs and he is a good passer. We would be a SuperBowl contender with him

refs called the worst call i have ever seen on the Eagles. Manning gets a call that was absolutely pathetic. Football has become soccer without the physicality.... What a joke the commissioner has made the game.

The Jets. The Giants. The Titans. The Ravens. The Pats. The Steelers.

I would say they're in contention for the NFC championship, but they are not, again, imho, the best team in football. They beat Detroit, the Niners and Jacksonville. Not fabulous teams. They beat ATL at home, and everyone knows ATL is horrible on the road.

Its like wishing for leprechauns, there is zero chance of getting Vick. Same with Leinart and Warner. Mcnabb too. It sucks but its the way it is.

Maybe a Skelton sighting towards the end of the season, but thats about it. DA and Hall (I cry) are our guys.(I cry more)

Steelers and Ravens are, IMO, clearly better teams

And, I'd take the Colts to win if they met again. Manning is a WAY better QB.

I like what Vick can do at the position. BUt I don't think the Eagles are the best team in football, and I doubt he's not in an Eagle uniform next year.

Now, if we could get Kolb, I'd be down (and he's make us relevant again).

Plus, the Colts are on the road, hurt and have the Monday night hangover. My brother (die hard Eagles fan) brought that up before the ball was even snapped.

Heard the other night that Vick may get a deal close to what ever Manning signs for and BOTH will be franchised. The best part is, Vick most likely not see a penny of the big signing he gets as part of his bankruptcy case. Kolb for a 2nd or 3rd would be more realistic.

It seems they've refocused the defense this season,and they've got weapons on offense. They're going to be tough to beat.

Kinda OT ... I get that some people hate Vick cause what he did to those animals was evil. But why is everyone so willing to forgive Ray Lewis and his situation? Yeah, I know he wasn't convicted of anything, but it certainly seems like he knew what went down.

yep and some rumors are that he was the one who did it and he paid off everyone....Im just saying...May not be true but he was right in the middle of that and someone died!

And what about Ben Rothlesiberger...Dude has prob raped 2 women and because of the situations..he gets away with it. Did you know there was less evidence by TONS on Mike Tyson...The girl came to his room at 4am....and he got 4 years in jail.

Eagles fans are definitely hard to take. The rest of Philly sports fans aren't nearly as bad.

The way I look at it now though is that Vick will probably save more animals in the long run since so many of the same kids who would have grown up to replicate that life style now will learn from Vick's experience.

Neither guy has any of my respect. And, if by a one night situation, you mean murdering another human being, then, well, okay. Lewis gets a pass for some reason. I don't freaking get it. At all.

Plaxico gets the same amount of time for being a ******** and shooting himself in the leg (no harm, no foul there, IMHO) as Vick does for horribly abusing animals. I don't get that either.

Any regular person does what these guys did and they are still rotting in jail. Makes me angry.

That's because Lewis turned on others before they could turn on him. Vick didn't turn on his dudes; they turned on him from the get go. I'm not saying that's a good or bad thing. It just is what it is. Authorities never found the white suit Lewis was wearing the night of the murder. Coincidence? I think not.

I think Vick is a major jerk for what he did, but he admitted to his crime (whether he had a choice to or not) and did his time. Lewis got away with one ... a big one.

Here's for hoping. I love animals. Hell, I'm a vegetarian and am anti-animal testing. I feed strays and stop on the road to help lost animals. (Did this twice in the past week since I saw dogs just strolling around in traffic.) I really hope you're right.
