With the first wave of NFL free agency completed and all but 14 of the top 100 free agents off the board, all eyes and focus will turn towards next month's draft in Green Bay. While the Titans, Browns, and Giants all jockey for position to select Cam Ward at quarterback, the Eagles will spend the next few weeks deciding whether or not to trade out of the first round to secure even more draft capital.
Philadelphia has eight picks in this year's draft and 22 over the next two years. The team still has a Super Bowl window and the assets to create even more depth for the next four to six years. Philadelphia has few glaring holes, but it needs to add depth at defensive tackle, safety, and linebacker.
Matt Miller just signed a new contract at ESPN, and to celebrate, he released this complete seven-round mock draft with all 257 picks. With Philadelphia in position to draft the best available players, the Eagles land a dynamic pass rusher, Dallas Goedert's replacement in Matt Miller's 7-round mock draft for ESPN.
Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
Miller has the Eagles selecting an athletic and dynamic pass rusher out of the ACC.
Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami
We've previously mocked Arroyo to Philadelphia, and the move makes perfect sense with Dallas Goedert, who is now 30 years old and has missed six games with injury in 2024.
Jordan Phillips, DT, Maryland
Miller has the Eagles adding a talented defensive tackle with their first-round pick to replace the departed Milton Williams.
Logan Brown, OT, Kansas
Philadelphia rebuilds through the trenches, and Miller has the Eagles adding a talented All-Big 12 offensive tackle.
The 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle spent four seasons at Wisconsin from 2019-2022. After redshirting his freshman season, he appeared in 26 games, including three starts, for the Badgers before entering the transfer portal in November 2022. Brown logged 13 total appearances at Kansas over two years before deciding to go pro.
Joe Huber, G, Wisconsin
Sebastian Castro, S, Iowa
Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon
Teddye Buchanan, LB, California

Rd 1 Pick 32
Donovan Ezeiruaku, Edge, Boston College
Miller has the Eagles selecting an athletic and dynamic pass rusher out of the ACC.
"Draft and replace" is Philadelphia's motto, and the Eagles have to replace edge rusher Josh Sweat, who signed with the Cardinals after getting 2.5 sacks in Super Bowl LIX. Ezeiruaku is a bit undersized (6-3, 248 pounds) but uses his 34-inch arms and first-step speed to get around and under the hands of offensive tackles. He was extremely productive this past season, with 80 tackles and 16.5 sacks, the second-best mark in the FBS.
Ezeiruaku's lack of height and power makes him a polarizing prospect, but the Eagles could use him as a stand-up pass-rushing specialist early in his career while he adds strength and further develops his game. Adding him to a rotation with 2023 first-rounder Nolan Smith Jr. and 2024 third-rounder Jalyx Hunt would give the Eagles youth and depth as they hope to maintain the league's fiercest pass rush.
Rd 2 Pick 64
Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami
We've previously mocked Arroyo to Philadelphia, and the move makes perfect sense with Dallas Goedert, who is now 30 years old and has missed six games with injury in 2024.
Dallas Goedert is still playing well, but the Eagles have always been good about drafting ahead of need. This is a deep tight end class, making this a good time to take a swing on Goedert's eventual replacement. Arroyo overcame an injury-plagued career to break out in 2024, with 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns. He's able to beat linebackers and safeties in coverage with speed but has ideal NFL size at 6-foot-4 and 251 pounds to be an effective run blocker. As long as he's able to stay healthy (he played only five games combined in 2022-23), he's a future NFL starter.
Rd 3 Pick 96
Jordan Phillips, DT, Maryland
Miller has the Eagles adding a talented defensive tackle with their first-round pick to replace the departed Milton Williams.
Phillips is the same type of undersized, quick pass rusher the Eagles lost when free agent Milton Williams signed with New England. Phillips could eventually replace Williams on passing downs.
Rd 4 Pick 134
Logan Brown, OT, Kansas
Philadelphia rebuilds through the trenches, and Miller has the Eagles adding a talented All-Big 12 offensive tackle.
