The Philadelphia Eagles have undergone a mini-long-term rebuild under salary cap wizard and team GM Howie Roseman. The franchise has won a Super Bowl and maintained that window since 2022. The Eagles have maintained that window while retooling after a coaching staff overhaul and the retirements of stalwarts Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, and Brandon Graham.

Roseman, known for never sitting still, has always been an active draft night trader and will likely make several moves between Thursday and Saturday night.

Roseman has conducted over 49 draft-day trades over the past ten years, not including the 2015 draft when coach Chip Kelly snatched personnel control. The Eagles made eight trades during the 2024 Draft, tied for the most draft-day trades by a team since 1990 — the 2018 Patriots and 2023 Texans also made eight. Howie Roseman amassed versatile athletes on both sides of the football while stockpiling multiple picks for 2025.

With the Eagles looking to make moves, we've examined Roseman's draft-day trades since taking the reins on two separate occasions.

Days before the draft, Roseman then flipped the 8th pick, a 3rd round draft pick, a 4th round draft pick, a 2017 1st round draft pick, and a 2018 2nd round draft pick to the Cleveland Browns for the 2nd overall selection and a 2017 4th round pick. Roseman traded a 1st round draft pick (New England flipped the pick to Dallas, who selected WR Dez Bryant) and two 3rd round draft picks to Denver for a 1st round draft choice that would become Brandon Graham.
