The Eagles build through the trenches, and the theme for the top 30 predraft visits this spring has mainly centered on offensive linemen and defensive interior. Philadelphia has focused on the Georgia Bulldogs over the past three years and has a visit schedule with former All-American offensive guard Dylan Fairchild.
After a reserve role in his first two years, Fairchild was inserted into the lineup in 2023 and never looked back. He started all 14 games for Georgia at left guard in 2024 and was the most consistent player on a unit that struggled to be cohesive last season. In 2024, Fairchild's play earned him Associated Press second-team All-American honors.
Per Pro Football Focus, Fairchild earned an 87.0 grade as a pass blocker — the highest grade among Georgia's starters — and 71.8 as a run blocker. During his first season as a starter, Fairchild played in all 14 games in 2023 and made 10 starts. He was a key member of the Bulldogs' offensive line, ranked first in the SEC in sacks allowed (0.93), and helped Georgia finish fifth nationally in total offense (496.5), offensive passing efficiency (168.21), and scoring offense (40.1).
