One day after completing two major free-agent signings with cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha and quarterback Vince Young, the Philadelphia Eagles made more roster moves Saturday, signing the free-agent defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins to a five-year contract and trading defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley to Cleveland for a fifth-round pick in next year’s N.F.L. draft.

Jenkins started 66 games in seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He had a career-high seven sacks in 11 games with the Super Bowl-champion Packers last year.

Eagles are mopping up in this FA market.
You mean every team in the NFC. These guys are straight up going for it but they still have the Vickster who can get hurt at any second. If they plan on bringing in Vince Young when that happens, Young is coo-coo and his eyes he will be playing to keep the start. If he even wins one game (while Vick is out) that locker room is toast. The difference between New England and Philly is all the headcases N.E. just picked up aren't playing the most crucial position on the team...QB.

Someone in here mentioned they could see Kolb getting better stats than Vick this year, if Vick misses some big games due to injury I can see it. But once Kolb gets acclamated here, I can see it happening straight up (same amount of games).

The eagles need a front office like this to counteract a championship blue-baller like andy reid.
