They we're ready to move on. They are going to rebuild their OL this year, that's what's up with all those draft picks.

What starters have they lost without replacing them yet?

The already replaced Dawkins. They already replaced one of the OT spots with Stacey Andrews.

They 'replaced' Dawkins. You don't just 'replace' the heart and soul of your team by plugging in another body.

As for re-building the o-line, like the Cardinals would tell you, easier said than done.

Andrews is being shifted over to one spot and I think Justice is the other and they're not real high on him from what I've read.

And what do they do in the interior now that they've moved Andrews?

Lost Dawkins, Sheppard (i know, didnt start this past year), Buckhalter started for them when Westbrook went down, and Considine was a starter up until the emergence of Mikell.

Regardless, i think they wouldve liked to have kept Tra, Dawkins to say the least.

Eagles aren't getting any better with these moves. Their only hope is to have a strong draft. McNabb can't be thrilled about this offseason so far.

The loss of Dawkins and the hand wringing of the loss is the most overrated news of the offseason. The replaced the old Dawkins who has been more of a liability then an asset the last two years with a better, younger, and more productive player. Dawkins on a regular basis was getting run over by running backs and even WR's, became a guy who got dragged for more yardage when tackling, and was horrid in coverage. There comes a point when so called "heart and soul" just doesnt make up for the bad play anymore, and Dawkins reached that.

The Eagles signed Stacey Andrews from the Bengals. Its Shawn Andrews who is their RG. They are brothers and Stacey is expected to line up next to him at RT replacing Runyan. The only spot they need to fill on their OL is the LT spot.

They dont have to rebuild their OL because 4/5ths of it is already in place.

Stacey Andrews is no sure bet. He's coming off major knee injury and didn't Shawn Andrews miss alot of time because of emotional issues? I thought i read that somewhere. Runyan had microfracture,i believe and Justice may never recover from the Giants debacle. In other words, their OL is a mess. Heck they may take 2 OL in round 1.

Stacey will be ready to go by mini camps in just a month, its why they werent afraid to sign him to 6 year contract, their medical staff gave him a clean bill of health.
Shawn missed the preseason with Depression. He missed the actual season with so called back spasms but most believe it was the fact that he didnt workout in the offseason and tweaked it because he was out of shape.

Both expected to be healthy for the start of mini camps before the draft.

I hate talking about Philly. I have been on the road with a Philly fan for a few weeks now.

I partly agree. Dawkins isn't what he used to be and backs are overpowering him like they never would before, but he is hardly ever out of position. That experience will be missed. Cards fans can attest to the problems that can be caused by having safetys out of position to make the play. See the SB and Francisco as evidence.

When I think of Winston Justice, I think of Osi Umenyori getting 7 sacks in one game on Monday Night Football.

Despite what is being reported I personally do not believe McNabb will be the starting QB for the Eagles come opening day

This is more good news for the likelihood of a RB falling to us now. With this news they HAVE to draft an OL with at least one of those picks.
