It's early, and the schedule has been relatively easy, except for Miami. Nevertheless, here's a quick look at some interesting stats:
- Suns 3rd in offensive rebounds per game at 15.0 per, 6th in overall rebounds
- Suns 1st in blocks per game at 9.0 per (half of that is Gortat)
- Suns 2nd worst in points allowed at 105 per game and 4th worst in points differential at -7.6 (due to two double-digit losses)
- Suns worst in 3-pt fg% allowed (48.3%!), worst in 3-pt fg% differential (-18%) and 3rd worst in 3-pt made differential (-2.6)
- Suns 4th worst in assist differential (-4.6)
- Suns leading scorer: Scola (15.2 ppg)
- Suns with five players averaging double digits (Scola, Gortat, Beasley, Dragic, Brown)
- Gortat leading the league in blocks per game (4.2)
- Beasley shooting career low (by good margin) from the floor (35.9%) and 3-pt line (28.6%) while attempting almost twice as many 3-pointers (4.2 per game) as previous career high (2.2 in 2010/11)
- Dragic averaging career high assists (8.6 per game, 6th in NBA) on par with last year's average as starter (8.4)
