2021 - Prove It
Here are some names to know about this All Star game this weekend. Feel free to add any as I will only mention those that I have noticed so far.
Najee Goode - ILB - West Va.
-Thick ILB that reminds me of Gerald Hayes. Could be a good fit, but I'm certain what the limits of his athleticism are. Late round pick that could contribute.
Nick Jean-Baptiste - DT - Baylor
-NT prospect that hasn't dominated to the level of his physical stature. Another late round prospect that could provide value.
AJ Jenkins - WR - Illinois
-Mid round WR prospect that has good speed, hands and feel for the passing game. Timed speed might be better that game speed, but could develop into a solid deep threat in the NFL.
Derek Dennis - OG - Temple
-Might be an undrafted guy, but has good movement skills for his size which means that he could fit in AZ.
Brandon Lindsey - OLB - Pitt
-He gets a bunch of hype, but I think Lindsey looks lost on his feet at OLB. I am interested to see hoe he looks in game and in drills.
Tyrone Crawford - DE - Boise St.
-3-4 defensive end with long arms and a solid work ethic inside. Will need to develop, but could be a solid starter and has some pass rush skills that could make him an option on third down as well.
Markus Zusevicis - OT - Iowa
-Solid Iowa lineman that could probably be had in the 3rd or 4th round. Projects to tackle or guard in the NFL and is a very physical player. Limited athletically, but should be able to make a roster and contribute in the NFL.
Devon Wylie - WR - Fresno St.
-Small WR, but good quickness and is very tough. Has good return skills and is a solid gunner on punt teams. Provides really good value as he has good speed, and can help both the return games and coverage teams. Deep speed might be there, but don't know for sure.
Rodney McCloud - CB - Virginia
-Haven't seen much of him but have read that he is a good player. I am interested to see what that scout saw in him.
