For Game 2, who were the best players?
The Edmonton Oilers weren’t always the best team on the ice. The Los Angeles Kings took a hold of the series, going up 2-0 with a commanding 6-2 score.

'Pure Genius': Oilers Legend Messier On What Made Gretzky GreatEDMONTON – “I don’t think anybody’s ever played the game the way Wayne has.” Evander Kane made a thunderous return to the lineup for the Oilers. He didn’t have the best first period, but settled in and stepped up in the second and third periods. Kane finished the game with four hits and two shots in 14:46 of ice time in his first game in nearly a calendar year.
Leon Draisaitl did what he could to pull his team into the game. He continued his point streak and showed off his deadly shot, once again. The German Gretzky can’t play every position.
Draisaitl scored one of the Oilers' two goals, went 57 percent in the faceoff dot while playing 19 minutes.
Finally, John Klingberg had a solid playoff debut. He recorded an assist on the Draisaitl goal, showing off his offensive skills. Only Darnell Nurse, Brett Kulak, and Evan Bouchard played more than Klingberg’s 18:48.
Game 3 of the series will be in Edmonton on Friday night.
