We need to take another look at him. We desperately need WR help. Aside from Larry, I dont think our entire WR corps would make another NFL team. Tho I do like Early, great slot guy.

Braylon is 6'3, 214, runs a 4.38. I dont care if this dude stole a space shuttel and tweeted about it, we need that kind of talent. WHEN he applies himself, hes a monster. He needs a solid team. Cards have a very strong locker room and who better than Fitz to look after him?

We literally have nothing to lose and potentially ALOT to gain.

Until we can get somebody who can throw the ball to them on a consistant basis, a #2 WR is not a priority.

Did you notice I referenced Jurecki in the post you quoted .

I give the FO praise all the time when I think they deserve it. Not just blindly like you seem to. I gave them credit for Kolb, Colledge, King, and Heap (even though he was pretty much a bust) and drafting PP and Acho.

I didn't want them to sign Edwards and am glad they didn't. However, all signs pointed them to signing him, at least very interested in signing him, had the altercation not occurred.

You might say you have, but I sure don't recall reading it on this forum.

According to you, all those signs pointing to the Cards signing Edwards came from Jurecki. I guess you have no problem with just blindly believing everything Jurecki says.

:doi: Re-read the posts. I hope the blind belief in Graves isn't affecting your comprehesion skills
From earlier in the thread:
Somers and especially Urban, the mouthpiece of the Cards, aren't going to fuel the rumor if there are no legs to it. In fact they are usually quick to squelch such rumors. Now, if it was Jurecki spreading the rumor, then you may have a better case in that the agent was putting it out there.

In other words, don't believe what Jurecki says but if Somers and Urban are talking (which I supplied numerous examples of) about it, it's likely true.

It doesnt have to be the #1 priority to make it happen. A need filler pops up along the way, go grab him. Not like if some star LT became available and declared interest in AZ wed be like "Wait, no not yet, we need a QB first".

The season is over tomorrow and there are going to be better options available when FA starts up.

Every NFL team has a limited amount of capital and only so much roster space. Roberts and/or Douchet/Sampson/Williams might be able to develop into a #2 WR. We have more pressing needs at QB and Oline. Let's address them and not waste money on a position that has little chance to succeed until the Oline/QB situation is fixed.

My comprehension skills are just fine. I recognized your bias immediately. The problem is that you refuse to understand that a rumor is just a rumor. No basis in fact, just one person making a statement and others embellishing on that statement. This rumor had to originate with either Jurecki or the Edwards camp. Our FO refuses to talk about contract negotiations to anyone and that includes Somers and Urban. Therefore the rumor is baseless.

I just don't understand how you can have blind faith in such a rumor unless it's simply to undermine having to give credit to the FO for not hiring Edwards. That's where the bias is apparent.

This is getting ridiculous. You sound like this is your 1st year as a Cards fan. Urban and Somers report all the time on contract negotiations with the Cards. Or do you not believe that Graves and Campbell are talking? Or what about the talks between Dansby and Graves? How did you come up with those numbers/arguments you always use as saying KD didn't want to sign here.

The Cards did show interest in Edwards. Whiz commented on it himself. Kerry Rhodes was tweeting about it and commented on it to the press.

We don't know if it was the fight incident or his long history of questionable behavior or if there were reports about his knee or...........

What we do know is the Cards did not go after him hard and didn't make him an offer he couldn't refuse. We don't know if they made an offer at all.

I never want Edwards because of his history and I've seen to many Jets games where he makes boneheaded plays and doesn't give it his all. I was very happy when he signed with the 9ers even though Rhodes and Feely stick up for Edwards.
