Huge Will Ferrell fan. I just see him and he cracks me up!

This movie would fit in the cute mold IMO! It wasnt bad but it wasnt real good either. It wasnt near as funny as I anticpated at all.

Worth seeing but wait till it hits your local Hollywood Video!

On my Will Farrell scale, I give it 9 out of 10 stars...he was funny, and there were some very hilarious scenes.

But as far as the movie itself, maybe a 5.5 out of 10. Some of the writing was bad, the Dad making his "decision" towards the end just seemed forced...nothing led up to it.

A weak story really, didn't have the emotional impact you might hope for from a Christmas Comedy.

We re-watched this one. No, it's not the funniest christmas movie ever (that would be christmas vacation), but it has some hilarious scenes that make it worth watching.

Love this one. We added this to our collection this year.

And I am not saying this just because everyone tells me I look like Will Ferrell. ;)

Probably my favorite Will Ferrel movie. He's just on fire throughout this entire movie. Much prefer when he plays roles like this and Stepbrothers. He much funnier when he's playing the innocent man child as opposed to the ego inflated schmucks he does in the rest of his movies. He pulle it off brilliantly for Anchorman... Ad I'll even give him credit for Blades of Glory, but not a fan of that character in his other flicks.

He somehow makes you believe he's a 10 year old in a man's body that was actually raised by elves. He absolutely sells a most ludicrous role.

I still rate Anchorman as his best movie...it's one of my favorites.

Another good thing about 'Elf' is the entire family can watch it. While I love 'Christmas Vacaction' just as much my nine year old can't watch it yet...

Zooey can sing! I can only tolerate it in this movie, though!
