We went down but being midday there were not hordes of unwashed Dalls fans there. In fact there were about 8-10 fans and about evenly split.

I got he disctinct impression that were he to signs they would be jumping bandwagons.

I wa a bit delayed from the estimted 11am time but when he can out he was polite and friendly. Brighteys suggested to him that we had better mexican food than Dallas which got a laugh.

The most entertaining part was when we were leaving. After we walked up from the downstairs secure area, we went in to the public area up top to use the restrooms. After walking past a slightly confused security guard I saw why.

We were walking past a group of about 6 guys on our way to the restroom, then things got more focused. It was an "OK folks it's been fun here see you later" session with Mac, Bill & Mike Bidwill, Emmit, RG going on 2ft from me.

Thanks Ian. Nice update. I tried to talk my wife into going down to Tempe for the press conference but she balked.

Emmitt is a jerk.

He frequents the Bar/Restaurant where I used to work.

Last year, after he came in following a preseason game, he left a trail of irate fans, customers, managers, and two crying servers in his wake. They weren't 'Elvis' cries either...He was just absolutely mean to everyone. There was not ONE person in the building who left with a positive impression of Emmitt. As a Card fan, I never liked him anyway.

I sold my Emmitt bobbleheads from the game vs. AZ here 2 years ago and made a nice profit above and beyond the price of admission. That's all he's ever been good for to me.

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing associated with the Dallas Felons I like either.

Just today he was being a nice guy, maybe on his best behaviour, I wouldn't know.
