Let's trade him for a boatload of 3rd and 4th round picks.. Keim might actually hit on a few of those

It's going to cost him a fortune to fix this mess. If he does, I will be impressed

NFL owners make a fortune annually. I think this off-season will show if they are more worried about their annual financial statement or the product they are putting on the field.

The time is now. But they need to get two above average corners in his place. No more one elite and duct tape and bailing wire opposite.

I'm beginning to think I'm never going to see a championship in my lifetime. I'm going to be up there with Cub fans(who died pre-2016), Indians fans, Leafs fans, etc.

Talk about pain. Try being a Suns fan as well.

If ARZ gets Bowles back as DC I think Peterson would be pleased. He just hates losing and this coaching staff is arguably the worst in the NFL and Keim's personnel moves or lack thereof the last couple of years put this team in this position as Peterson has been a model player until this year.

I wouldn't move him. This team has a ton of cap money, will be in great draft position with plenty of assets, and we'll have a 2-3 year window with Rosen to keep things that way. PP21 can hold onto his performance for another 2-3 years.

Of course, this is said as long as he's not so disenchanted with the franchise that he's becoming a malcontent. But if we can convince him to stay, I see no point in trying to replace him with draft picks.

Great post, Solar. Patrick Peterson does not run the team, and this is not fantasy football. You can’t just assume that you can easily find equally great players in the draft no matter how many picks you have.

If the team still thinks that Rosen will become what they thought a couple of months ago, then you obviously don’t let go of your best players. If they think he will get his first contract extension in a couple of years, then the window that the current salary cap-situation allows is right now.

He can't leave on his own until 2021 free agency. There's a lot of time to right the ship before then. No need to rush.[/QUOTE]

At which time he will be 33 with dwindling trade value. If he goes FA not more than a compensatory chip.

Deion Sanders said this morning Pat P wants to escape the Cardinals. Looks like P2 train is moving on to a different team this offseason.

Deion Sanders the is without a doubt the biggest illogical Cardinals hater there is.

He hates the Cardinals with about as much logic and reasoning as I hate those dirty, disgusting, sub-humanoid Cowdungs.

I am going to enjoy the final five games watching P2 play.
If the last 5 are anything like the Chargers game I will not be "enjoying" watching him play. Great career. Not the best leader, role model, and player in 2018. Might be the system that has impacted his play, but his attitude and leadership have been questionable at best.

I see him forcing a trade. He's sick of this program...and will hold out

or Cards may just hold him hostage

No mistake he wants out

Why?
He's arguably the #1 man to man CB in the league and Wilks has him in zone...he's now tackling RB's and most of the time putting his head in there.....shoot his jersey is a mess at the end of games like it's never been...man is sacrificing his body ...and for what.

I don't blame him for the Chargers game....Cards were getting destroyed on offense ...3 and out over and over and over and over again....the D had NO rest...add to it the D line NOR the LB's were doing their jobs......what is he to do ....slam into Melvin Gordon 12 yards down the field...no way!

It's amazing how dumb Wilks is....shoot look at the Viking game....Adam Theilin was killing the Cards ....then late in the 4th PP Wilks FINALLY put PP 1 on 1 with Adam and shut him down. The running of the full 4-3 now is beyond dumb....it'd be like having all the parts to an Ford and building a Audi....you use the parts to build the best machine you can....not what you want. It's not the talent, it's how the talent is being used.

You can have an amazing student, but if the teacher is garbage - the kid will slack in class.

3/4 of the pro sports teams I root for have won championships in my lifetime to where I remember them:

Phillies: 1980, 2008
Flyers: 1974-75
Sixers: 1983
Cards: Not yet

Even minor and off league teams I rooted for won:

Stars(USFL)
Phantoms(AHL)
Soul(AFL)
KIXX(MISL)
Wings(NLL)

Cards are my lone hold out.

Hang tough. The Cardinals are closer to winning a championship than the Suns.
