In a vote that ended March 21, Cincinnati.com readers selected the next 2025 Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Athletes of the Week from high school sports action through March 16.
Winner certificates through Feb. 14 have been mailed to athletic departments so winners can pick up their certificates through athletic directors.
Here are this week's winners.

Ohio boys basketball team:Wyoming – They lost a heartbreaker in the state semifinal, bowing to Zanesville Maysville 75-73 in double overtime.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys basketball team:Lloyd Memorial – The boys hung on to beat Newport 41-40 in the Ninth region semifinal, setting them up to play Cooper for the title last Tuesday.
Ohio girls basketball team:Winton Woods – The Warriors finished the season as undefeated state champions with a 70-55 win in the title game over Anthony Wayne on Friday.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls basketball team:Cooper – The Jaguars won their first-round game in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Sweet 16 but lost in the quarterfinals, 78-61, to the eventual state champ Sacred Heart.
Boys spring team: Lakota East volleyball – The Thunderhawks began the season with a 2-0 record, beating Hilliard Bradley 3-0 and Beavercreek 3-1 in a tri-match,
Ohio boys basketball: Cayleb Walters, Summit Country Day – The senior had 15 points, two assists, three steals and three rebounds in SCD’s 63-51 loss to Gahanna Columbus Academy in the Division V state semifinals. He made four 3-pointers in eight attempts.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys basketball: Jayden Humphrey, Lloyd Memorial – The senior scored a layup at the buzzer to give the Juggernauts a 41-40 win over Newport in the Ninth Region semifinals. He had 9 points overall.
Ohio girls basketball: Strawberry Blankumsee, Winton Woods – The freshman poured in 28 points to go with three rebounds, three steals and an assist as the Warriors won the DII state championship.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls basketball: Haylee Noel, Cooper – She was named to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Sweet 16 all-tournament team after averaging 29 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
Northern Kentuckyboys lacrosse: Charlie Park, Ryle – He had three goals and an assist in the Raiders’ 12-9 win over Great Crossing.
Northern Kentuckygirls lacrosse: Tori Sickmeier, Ryle – She had two goals in a loss to Lexington Catholic, and three in a 9-7 loss to Frederick Douglass.
Boys volleyball: Clay Bebout, Loveland – Bebout had 11 kills, five digs and five blocks in a season-opening win over Fairfield.
Boys archer: Brayden Henry, Boone County – The junior shot 285 to finish 58th in the NASP state tournament in the high school boys division.
Girls archer: Addison Alloway, Scott – She shot a 283 in the NASP state tournament to finish 59th in the high school girls division.
