If so how much? Just wondering, ASU would be smart to put a big nasty buyout on his part so they know he will be around for awhile.

I'm sure LL has that in there, I'll be surprised if she doesn't. IMO, his options are limited due to age and past NFL shortcomings. Don't get me wrong, I think there is a chance he will leave for another job but I think it's highly unlikely. He's 60, has failed twice already in the NFL, and ASU would be a good job to retire at. If he has success here, I see him being here a minimum of 5-7 seasons (then he may think of going to another high profile college gig).

In 5-7 years maybe Joe Pa will finally retire and DE will move to Penn St. Naw....Jo Pa will coach another 30 yrs. :)

Lisa Love made no sense when asked at the press confence regarding years/dollars of the contract. She said that the info would be released once the contract was done.

Why are you having a press conference if the contract is not even done?

The contract has to be approved by the Board of Regents first. It's standard procedure, happens in every hiring.

The press conference was to announce him as head coach

Trust me, Dennis Erickson won't be going to Penn State anytime soon.

At this point, I'd say Kurt Ferentz is the leading candidate to succeed Joe Pa, but who the hell knows from one year to the next.
