Read this on ESPN draft tracker.Sounds like they have a slightly different take on Suggs.

Terrell Suggs DE 6-3 262 4.6 Arizona State

Positives; Very good athlete and a explosive pass rusher with great speed off the edge. Can get off the line of scrimmage like a shot.Has great pass-rush instincts and can fly.Runs like a deer when chasing the QB.Figures to get bigger and better as he matures and gets older.Goes 110 mph,has a non-stop motor and is relentless when rushing the passer. Can drop into coverage.Backside pursuit is outstanding. Can adjust and has good change of direction skills.Broke sack record despite constant double and triple teams.Would be best suited as a pass-rush LB in a 3-4 or a pass-rush specialist in a 4-3,but he has a world of natural ability.

NEGATIVES; Immature. slightly undersized DE who lacks experience at LB. Is a one-trick pony who just wants to rush the passer and shows no passion for playing the run or doing the dirty work.Has limited experience dropping into coverage and will freeze on play action fake at times.

SUMMARY; Big time pass rusher who needs to improve in all other areas. If he`s successful adding weight without losing speed,Suggs could play every down as a rush DE.He`s not Julius Peppers, but Suggs is a more complete Dwight Freeney, and may be most similar to Simeon Rice, including a nearly identical personality.

Interesting take on Suggs.

Yeah that last line scared me also. That is the first time i have read anything negative about his attitude. The part about no passion for playing the run kinda shocked me.

See I disagree.

The guy had over 30 tackles for a loss this year, which means he tackled 30 runningbacks or other non-passers behind the line scrimmage....doesn't exactly sound like someone who is just a pass rusher.

We all have to remember when reading draft stuff, that we all should still trust our eyes....I watched every ASU game this year (except for the Oregon game) and Suggs was a force against the run just as much as he was against the pass. Terrell Suggs was basically a one man show on defense.

I have yet to see an interview with him in which he has not come across as a completly humble and nice guy. Where in the world they can find anything that remotely compares this guy to Simeon is beyond me. He just recently had a run in with some guys at a Three on Three Bball tournament but it is being investigated. I can't believe that this occurance is the reason.

2 versus 29

I think the "similar personality" reference to simeon, is that they are both outgoing personalities.

The difference between Suggs and simeon, lies in the wonderlich scores. Suggs is smart, simeon is stupid. It works out great if a person happens to be outgoing, and is smart. However, if you're outgoing, and stupid like simeon, it won't take people too long to figure out just how stupid you are.

Have you every taken the wonderlic before?

Getting a good score on the wonderlic means absolutely nothing. It only shows that you have decent common sense, but not pure intelligence.

But you have to admit Krang, that a more intelligent person would get a higher score on the Wonderlic than a less intelligent person. Suggs' score was much higher than Simeon's.

But all a higher score would show is that you have an apptitude to being a serial killer or that you have to much fiber in your diet. It is a difficult test...and totally redundant. My company requires everyone to take it. 5hrs....total mind numbing BS. But yes a higher score means your intelligent.

Krang- common sense is the difference between saying Pat Tillman is a patriotic American that sacrificed his profession to serve our country, and interjecting a personal opinion that he sucked as a player, before hearing the intent of the question presented to him.

Anyone with a hint of common sense, would know that you listen to the question being asked before answering what you assumed the question would be...especially on a national stage.

There are plenty of intelligent people banging into each other every day out there. The problem is, they didn't use it to gain any knowledge. The wonderlich test is a barometer of how much knowledge you have aquired in your life.
