Arizona Cardinals - The Cardinals' offense went on Oprah for a complete makeover. Unfortunately, Oprah doesn't know a lot about football. They kicked to the curb their starting quarterback and top three wide receivers and replaced them with journeyman Jeff Blake and a host of no-names and rookies at wide receiver. Tight end Freddie Jones is the only quality veteran returning and he had a very disappointing season. It is very possible that the Cardinals will start two rookie wide receivers as they spent high draft picks on Bryant Johnson and Anquan Boldin. The collection of rabble they have to beat out includes Jason McAddley, Bryan Gilmore, Larry Foster and Kevin Kasper.

they called our wr corps "rabble." i think that's funny.

but of course, the national media doesn't know the cardinals, they hate them, they don't do their homework, unproven does not mean bad, c'mon, let's hear all the excuses . . .

Stupid stupid ESPN. So what if our WR core is all rookies? Rookie WR usually are the ones to explode into the NFL.

Oh Yeah thanks for naming our WR core for us ESPN.

I officially think to call them the Red Rabble!

Really any kind of national sports writer that actually liked the Cardinals chances would have to be one thorough not to mention brave dude.

I mean I get aggravated at the obvious bias without really looking at the team but if you were them come on what would you do?

Spend hours and hours researching a team that never does anything and lost one huge free agent and had two others pass up more money to go elsewhere?

I think anyone who has followed the team for some time would agree things have finally turned in the right direction but until wins come nobody cares. We were 4-2 and what happend suddenly Bradshaw shows up and the whole season goes straight to H#)) .

Even as an objective sports writer that wasn't looking at it from a fans perpective given the Cardinals history would have to be awfully brave to start spouting glowing reports about the Cards chances. History is littered with such reports that some how never worked out.

I love this team but it deserves all it gets till it wins a superbowl there will always be doubts even a NFC championship wouldn't shake all the negativity out.

I love the episode of Malcolm in the middle where they beat up the clowns.

I really don't like Clowns either. That Poltergiest one scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

I like the Red Rabble also. If our DL does what I think it will do this year, that could be a good moniker for them too.
