I'm disappointed because I checked the site just about every weekday, but it seemed inevitable, especially after the recent departures. Failing the arrival of a new new editor-in-chief with the ability to truly start a new era, the site was going to be continually undermined by its staff of Simmons loyalists and a punitive attitude from Bristol. Sean Fennessy turning down the job may have been the last hope and the last straw.

It was going downhill since they fired Simmoms.

Figured this was coming, I noticed a few weeks ago that it had gone from a very prominent display on ESPN's main page to being relegated down to where they post stuff about the WNBA and X-Games.
