Does anyone know if the ASU game on ESPNU will be in HD.. Currently I am watching the USFvsFSU game on ESPNU, and the picture looks TERRIBLE..

Its all grainy and hard to even watch, is this the way the game is going to be tonight?? I freakin hope not...

Yeah, in Tucson, you have to have the Sports package with Comcast. I might try and get to a Sports Bar - or listen on the radio.

The problem with that is the AU-Oregon St game is at the same time.Get the package and then cancel it later.

ok... I spend 40 bucks a month for a sports package and HD upgrade, on top of the cable package I have.... if you spend the money for a subpar product I can be upset..

I am sorry Tucson doesn't have the game, or for those who can't see it, that sucks... But ESPNU was suppose to be in HD 2 years ago, and instead they have drug their feet and are now saying sometime in 2010...

Considering even Fox Sports Arizona is HD, you would think all ESPN affliated stations would be, but apparently not...

I am just saying it sucks...

At least you can watch it! I have Dish Network and no way am I getting a sports package to a channel I will never watch just to watch this game. Its pretty sad that one of the bigger games ASU has played in a while couldn't be picked up by someone locally to people could actually watch. Oh well sucks!

I ended up ordering the package this afternoon so I could watch the game. ESPNU IS ESPNSEC. Why do they even pretend otherwise?

Actually ESPNU is in HD. Your complaints shouldn't be towards ESPN but Cox. They aren't carrying it in HD. Also ESPN signed a 15 year contract with the SEC last year so they will tend to have a few more games. Every station is bound by the contracts they have with conferences. The Pac-10 has the worst contract on earth. That is why you rarely see them on national games.

Which means you won't be getting the ASU game this week due the the Versus channel's pissing contest with DTV. The Pac-10 TV deals are atrocious.

yeah And all the bars around here have DirectTV because of sunday Ticket, so NO ONE will be showing the game...

Glad I spent the money for the sports pack now...
