So far, I've seen nothing from a credible source to verify all these signings. Usually KFFL jumps in early with sort of news. So far, they've got nothing. But if all this is true, so far the list of Cardinal UDFA's is up to 12.

Evan needs to work on the game face though. Not really a Neuschler. :)

Cool, I'm from the Stroudsburg area. He's probably on the front page of the Pocono Record this week. James Mungro of the Colts is the only other player that I know of from the area that's in the NFL. Mungro was HUGE news at the time.

Its Nice to see someone from close-by making it to the pros. I remember going to watch a game against East Stroudsburg and seeing Mungro tear up the field.

Before that the only player from a local college that made it to the pros was a running back from Kutztown U. I don't remember his name at the moment by he did go to school the same time as my brother in the 70's.

hey there cardiholic!

Stroudsburg you say? I'm from Lehighton. Were you there during the Centennial League days? It always seemed to be some hard fought games when the two got together.

Mungro was the last good player that my Syracuse orangeman have had. I remember him fondly.

I'm live in East Stroudsburg and I go to school with Evan. He's actually one of my really good friends, and I have extreme confidence in him that he will do amazing. If you've never seen him play you're definitely in for a treat. I can't wait to see what he can do on this level!
If anybody wants anymore info on him as a player or whatever let me know.
I'm probably one of his biggest fans here

I'm from Lehighton.

Lehighton?? Wow.. Talk about a small world.

My wife was raised in Summit Hill, I actually lived there for about 10 months and worked at WMGH in Lansford. My daughter was born at Gnaden Hutten Memorial Hospital in Lehighton and both of my in-laws are buried at St. Joseph's Church Cemetary in Summit Hill.

How old are you man? Where'd you go to school?

Get OUT!

Hey Diamond!

I'm 46 and I've lived in Lehighton all my life. So, naturally, I went to school at Lehighton High School.

WMGH, I know it well. Does Lane Roberts ring a bell? I worked with him in the past at Baileys Building Supplies in New Ringgold.

Wow, this is a small world. Most people I talk to, I have to ask them if they know where Jim Thorpe is and then go from there.

Wow. Unreal how small of a world this is.

Also, anyone who's EVER worked at WMGH should know who Lane Roberts is. I knew that guy well. I mainly worked with Mark Marek, who is about as surly in reality as he is on air. I did the news for the station for awhile.

I'm surprised people have heard of Jim Thorpe, but NOT Lehighton. Lehighton's actually the bigger of the two towns.

As for the wife, pretty much her whole family went to Marian Catholic High School up in Hometown. The wife swore up and down that our daughter would grow up there, but I put the kabunks to that.. LOL.

Anyhow, nice to meet you man. Good to get to talk to people from ol' Coal Country.

This might get even more freaky.

I have 2 nieces that went to Marian. The last name was Cortese. They both played on the Volleyball team.

As for Lane, oh I'm sorry, the Doctor  , I don't know if you know but, he moved on and is now on the internet from Penns Peak. Here is the address

Really? What years did they graduate? I'd be willing to gamble that my wife MAY have known them. She'll at least know who they were.

LOL the Doc was the man. You don't know how much he and Bill Lakatas would knock heads over the stuff Doc would do on his show. Bill's old school to the law, Doc... Well, he kept it light.

That's a BIG loss for WMGH.. Real big loss.

Just saw that Conrad Flynn's with Penns Peak radio.. Damn, I remember him when he was just breaking in the door, an immature, wild eyed kid. Go fiigure.
