NEW YORK -- Denver forward Reggie Evans was fined $10,000 and assessed a flagrant foul penalty two by the NBA on Monday for his actions during the Nuggets' 100-86 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.
Evans was cited for "unnecessary and excessive contact" with Clippers center Chris Kaman and had his penalty upgraded from the technical foul that was originally called.
Kaman was assessed a flagrant foul penalty one for his actions after the second-quarter incident, but that was downgraded to a technical foul by the league.

I'm sure emotions run high, but there is really no need to get ***** like that.

I guess in the end, Reggie was left holding the bag.....

First non-NFL player to get a sack.

Some players just can't stand being on the court if they don't have the ball in their hand.

If I was Kaman and this is all the league did to punish him, I'd go NUTS!

i think that the $10,000 should be given to kaman. or at least a charity of kaman's choice that way he could get something out of having his nuts crushed.

I dont understand why this wasn't an automatic suspension. I mean a thrown punch is an automatic suspension, and this certainly seems to take more effort and thought than letting a punch fly - and has the same malicious intent.

I guess that this means that Poseys bumping foul on Hinrich(suspension) was considered worse than testicle bashing. I'll bet Kaman didnt want to go to the low block for the rest of the game, and he'll be real careful next game. Reggie Evans sure has balls, but whose are they? Are we all sure that Stu Jackson is not a woman, since he doesnt consider testicle bashing an "intent to injure" foul. This almost ranks with a Mike Tyson ear bite. I think I might prefer to be bumped myself.

IIRC, Gilbert Arenas complained that he got the 'testicular treatment' from Eddie House, back when both were in college.

It takes a lot of, uh, guts to do it in the pros, though--Evans has to know that the cameras will catch him.

Guess Evans just needs to leave the ball handling to the point guards.

Kwame is in trouble for sexual assault? I would press charges. If someone did that on the street, there you could take legal action.
