The state indoor track and field season wrapped up March 28-29 at the 2025 Illinois Top Times Championships, held Friday and Saturday at Shirk Center in Bloomington.
A total of 90 state champions were crowned, 15 boys and 15 girls champs in each of the three enrollment classes.
Athletes from 10 schools around Peoria won state titles, five in boys and five in girls.
Boys champs from the area were Jaiduan Cranford, Metamora; Corie Green, Delavan; Christian Harris, Morton; Kamar Sanders, Limestone and Joe Atkins, Washington. Area girls champs were Daniella Bumber, Henry, Carly Ulrich, Lowpoint-Washburn and Tori Brown, Illini Bluffs, along with relay teams from El Paso-Gridley and Galesburg.
