After knocking in a three-foot putt on the 18th green Sunday, Michelle Wie appeased a large group of her fans by directing them to a nearby area where she would soon greet them and pose for pictures. Wie shot a 71 in the final round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in Kildeer and finished in a tie for 28th. Wie was consistent but not spectacular in Kildeer. She fired four rounds in the 70s and finished at even par. That would be fantastic golf for almost anyone, but Wie has’t exactly been just anyone, ever. Wie, a Hawaii native, became the youngest player to qualify for a USGA amateur championship at age 10. She has played eight tournaments against men on the PGA
