Ex West Ham United Veteran Not Fully Fit To Start Bologna Vs Inter Milan Serie A Clash
Striker Marko Arnautovic is not fully fit to start in today’s Serie A clash between Bologna and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908.
Inter Milan will be without Marcus Thuram in this evening’s Serie A match against Bologna.
That gives Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi a decision to make in attack.
The Corriere report that Lautaro Martinez will lead the line. There will be no rest for the Argentine, who gave absolutely everything against Bayern Munich in midweek.
But all of Marko Arnautovic, Joaquin Correa, and Mehdi Taremi are available as potential partners for Martinez.
Barcelona beat Celta Vigo 4-3 in La Liga yesterday. It was a dramatic comeback that represented a major step towards the title for the Blaugranas.
However, that result came at a cost for Barcelona.
Striker Robert Lewandowski started the match. However, at just after the half-hour mark, he went down holding his left thigh.

Lewandowski is certainly a key player for Barcelona. He has been the Catalan club’s top scorer in each of the three seasons since his arrival in the summer of 2022.
The Polish international was on target with a brace in the first leg of Barcelona’s Champions League quarterfinal tie against Borussia Dortmund.
However, Lewandowski will play no part in the semifinals, in all likelihood.
Barcelona confirm that the 36-year-old underwent medical tests today.
These confirmed that Lewanodwski picked up a semitendonous injury to his left thigh.
This is not an injury that the former Bayern Munich striker will be able to return from right away. It will need at least a couple weeks to recover.
Therefore, Lewanodwski will certainly miss the first leg against Inter on the 30th. Furthermore, he would be a major doubt to be available for the second leg.
