Tonight showed something I'm not sure we realized. The Spurs really need Horry when playing the Suns.

Horry is not much of a regular season player and isn't that important against some teams, but he is essential to their small ball ball lineup. Neither Oberto nor Elson are effective when Marion is at PF, which is why the Spurs struggled for much of the game tonight. With Horry at PF, the Suns don't match up well because Marion has to guard Parker.

The Spurs did not have much success with the small lineup until very late when the Suns tired because the Suns double team of Duncan took them out of their rhythm

In game six, the Suns will be at full strength and the Spurs won't be.

Thanks Amare and Diaw for letting us down. I guess leaving the bench was more important than a championship.

If last years playoffs didn't convince you this stuff was rigged, this years has to have.

And to hell with Stern, he screws the fans and the players.

Thank David Stern for playing favorites and taking a potential 30 points off the Suns score tonight between Amare and Diaw.

Thats a little harsh man, you've been right on w/ a lot of your posts lately, but they did the natural thing that most people would do.

If, and its a BIG if, the Suns lose this series, I hope they have another Thank You parade for this team. Like Coach D always says, its not about the destination, but the journey, havent the Suns taken us all on amazing journey this year? Sure it be fantastic if they won it all (I'd probably cry), but if the lose because of some stupid rule and the league being ********, I think these players deserve to have half a million people show up downtown and say "Thanks, that was a lot of fun"

almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. if the suns win 6, they still havent won it. veteran teams dont let game 7's (even on the road) slip away easily. duncan will be a monster in the next 2 games, and the suns must compete.

Thank you Phoenix Suns Players for showing great heart. That was a commendable effort. With the crowd, the emotion, and determination...you're team almost won.

I look forward to both teams playing at full strength, a hard fought game, and the end to an intense series...of course I'm rooting Silver and Black but man, I'm happy to watch your PG play ball. I have to make sure that when I buy a Basketball video for my nephews, that his video is the one I buy first. "It's just practice."

I thought its "natural" to want a championship....

So I guess its ok with the board for our bench to clear over a shove. We just blame Stern again..and again...and again...

Well its okay for the Spurs to clear their bench when a player falls to the ground. Their reaction was also instinctual but the league ignores that incident because our team takes the high ground.

Elbow a guy to the head or knee a guy in the balls and you'll get off without a suspension, leave the bench during an altercation where the only person to throw an elbow is the one who gave the cheapshot to begin withand you'll get suspended. That sounds fair, doesn't it?

Would I have preferred that Amare kept his cool and not get on the court? Of course but that's easier said then done especially with the way the league was doing nothing for all the incidents previously where the only people punished were those that were getting hit with cheap shots. Then again Duncan and Bowen didn't keep their cool either but that is ignored because of a damn loophole.

The league has shown a tendency to reward thuggish behavior and the Suns as well as everyone here were justifiably pissed due to the suspensions done by Stu Jackson and David Stern. Fairness always needs to be taken into account of the action. Period. The end.

If there is a game 7, there might be fireworks involved if Horry touches the ball, or is anywhere in the building within beershot of Gee.
