External USB Hard Drives

Does anyone know anything about external USB Hard Drives? I am looking to buy one, maybe 200GB or so, to consolidate data from a PC and two laptops in one place. Most of them seem self-powered too.

I have found some online for about $200 and will check at Fry's also.

Just make sure it is USB 2.0 compatable. USB 1.0 is too slow.

If you don't have USB 2.0 USB ports on your computer get an expansion card to add them.

You could also buy an enclosure (for around 25 dollars) and then buy an internal to put in it. I bought a 250 GB off ebay for around $100 a while ago.
