With three weeks to go for the first TC workout I need some football to get me through the day. And with the Cardinals there are two things I want/don't want to hear:
1. Cooper signs his contract.
2. No one is injured or arrested. No news is good news.

So I'm turning to fantasy football. These are statements/questions pertaining to FF and I'd appreciate your take:
1. For my second QB, I'm targeting CP and also Larry Fitzgerald for my second (out of four) WR. And naturally the success of CP affects both. So PS games will tell me how we're protecting CP, and TC will tell me how CP and LF are hooking up.
2. Last year, in a ppr league I had two rookie running backs, Martin and Morris, but will probably be only able to get one this year. Martin seems to be rated higher and outscored Morris last year. But I'm leaning toward Morris. In 2012 he had a lot of yards but not a lot of td's. Near the goal line RGIII took it in. Coming off an injury, I see Morris getting more in close td's/
3. Wes Welker will make Peyton Manning's job much easier and PM should have a monster fantasy year. But at the same time Welker's, Thomas' and Decker's stats should go down and maybe way down. There are just so many balls to go around.
4. Rookie RB's, Ball vs. Bell. Again, have to keep an eye of PS games. But one (Denver) is a passing team and one (Pitt) a running team, so I'm leaning towards Bell. Lacy of GB is another possibility, since GB is looking for Rodgers to take fewer hits. So they'll run more.
5. Tom Brady should have a poor fantasy year as he has only ONE target, Danny Amendola. And DA should have a BIG year if he can stay healthy. But that's a BIG IF. Hearing a number of media people saying that Stephen Ridley will have a big year since the Patriots will have to run more. My concern, was Ridley good last year because defenses had to be playing pass?
6. Chris Johnson vs. Jamal Charles. Johnson has two new vg guards so that should help him. While, Charles is playing in an offense that should be much better. And last year with a terrible QB situation, he rushed for about 1500 yards, I believe. So who is a better FF pick?
7. Last year in our League, Drew Brees was the leading scorer by far. However, imo, that was because NO's defense was so poor that Brees was always playing from behind. I expect his numbers to go down, but he'll still be drafted in the first three picks, and I'll have no shot at him, picking eightth.

So that's my seven questions/statements, but I'm sure I'll think of others.
I'd appreciate your take.

I realize I've gotten zero replies to my seven questions/statements, so I'll try just one. Who would be a better WR pick, Tavon Austin or Danny Amendola?

Amendola has the better QB throwing to him but if Welker is available take him instead.

Cardsfan, thanks. I agree with your take on Amendola, but will have to keep my fingers crossed that he stays healthy. Welker will probably not be available when I'm looking for a third WR, and keep in mind, as good as he is, he'll have to share receptions with Thomas and Decker and the TE, while Austin and Amendola will be the first option.
