Based on the global success of "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," which grossed $158 million worldwide, Universal has hired screenwriter Chris Morgan to write a fourth installment of the franchise.
Good god. Are enough people watching these movies that they feel the need to keep making them?
Jenna, thats AWESOME! Amazing. I love it when people think that whole street racer style is cool. Its so not cool, its almost cool again.
I'll go with the 'all show, no go' assumption...another thing about that car... the guy (who looked 19, tops) just bought it - it still had the temporary plates. the car was used, so one of two things happened: 1) he got it and immediately had the paint job done or 2) he loved the "2 fast 2 furious" car so much he had to have it. i can't figure out which is more depressing.
Walkers a douche, and the first was brilliant on cheese factor alone, nothing more. Maybe this will be good, who knows. 3 was WAY better than 2. 2 was unwatchable. three kept my interest as a guilty pleasure. Diesel's an enigma. he turned down FF2 and XXX2 so keep from being typecast, and then he does Pitch Black 2 (whatever it was called) and then re signs for FF4? I wish he would keep doing weird stuff like that film where he played the mobster defending himself. That was a good film.
I saw 1. I felt there was no reason to see any sequels.
We should have a kumite matching the talent-less Walker against the talent-less Diesel.
