Florida Atlantic coach Carl Pelini and defensive coordinator Pete Rekstis both resigned Wednesday after university officials said they acknowledged using illegal drugs. FAU received information about the allegations of drug usage by the two coaches on Monday, said athletic director Patrick Chun. An investigation began immediately and Chun confronted the coaches on Wednesday, a day when law enforcement officials also visited the school's athletic offices. ''We hold ourselves to a standard here,'' Chun said.

Schnellenberger walked around boozed up most of the time and is a hero. 2 coaches smoke some weed in private , get turned in by 2 holier than thou snitches, and get burned. Hypocrisy. Fire the guy because he is doing a lousy job in a lousy program. Not for this ****.

This is one of those resign and keep your money or get fired and pay us back $500K.

FAU, my alma mater, just continues to embarrass themselves at every turn. It's the admin not the inmates.
