With all the different parts or segments of the every draft, what is your single favorite each year?

I like when Kiper rips an entire team's front office for their consistently poor picks stating that's why they are such losers.

Ripping on my friends when their team takes somebody way too early or that they hate. Best time ever was when my best friend was giving me crap because the Cards were rumored to be taking Glennon. I have never disliked a player more than him. He was taunting me for an hour. When they announced the Bucs (his team) selecting Glennon, I lost my ish! I don't think I have ever been so happy for a pick, even by my own team!

Whomever the Cards pick, the other two top names are going to be pissed and ready to destroy the Cardinals every chance they get.

Fans acting tough against an opponent that can't answer back. Like internet forum bullies.
It was never too bad until the year of the lockout 2011 or so, when they held the draft but there was a work stoppage at the time and the fans were expressing their displeasure at the financial bickering between the millionaires that may have stopped the game. It's been a stupid show ever since, and it's a bad look for the NFL.

Coming onto ASFN after each pick and sorting through the jubilation/outrage...all over a guy nobody has any clue will pan out or not.

My favorite thing is the usual look of disgust and bewilderment on the faces of Jets fans that show up for the draft.

Other than excitement about the cardinals picks, that's mine also. The looks on Jets, Giants & Eagles fans faces lol.

The names.

I've always held that "names contain a little bit of pixie-dust (sometimes posititive/sometimes not so positive).

As a kid I followed White Plains HS Running backs "Tyrone Holmes" and "T-Bone Lee."

When we'd travel to New Haven to catch a Yale Ivy League contest, their star ballcarrier was "Levi Jackson."

Later on, My favorite Cardinal FB names belonged to Charlie Trippi and Roy Shivers. Top draft pick, QB King Hill turned out to be a bust.

And howabout Eric Swann?

This season, the Draft brings us (fanfare) Greedy Williams

Who in this draft belongs on your All Name team?

It was 1970 or 1971 and I was working (NY Telephone) on the Draft, which was held at the Biltmore Plaza in NYC. Mostly coordinating telephone service for the teams. I forget how many teams there were, but each team had two voice lines, and I just had to stand around in case a line went out of service (they never did). A young Dan Rooney was one of the two guys sitting at the Steelers table, and while I was a Cardinals fan I had no idea who was manning their table. Ten foot posters dotted the walls with action pictures of each team on the posters. Howard Cossell and Dave Anderson were the media guys that I recognized. And I have to admit it wasn't the guys drafted that was my main attraction, but rather the free food and drink that was provided by Pete Roselle (Sp?) and the NFL. It was a blast, but much different from today's Draft. Great memories.
