I'm sitting here at work doing my usual thing (which is not working). I am listening to my Elvis Christmas album and thought "wonder what other Christmas music people like." So do tell.

Hanson's "Snowed In" of course!

Actually, to be perfectly honest, NSYNC's Christmas CD is pretty darn good.

And Mariah Carey's too.

Stop laughing.

I hate celebrity X-mas albums....

It was cool with Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra and stuff back in the day, but friggen "Christmas with the Olsen Twins" etc.... that just sucks

ringo starr's christmas cd from last year is top-notch.

usually though i more enjoy the classics instead of the newer music. love the old sinatra, bing crosby, etc. renditions of the songs.

but my all-time favorite christmas cd has to be Dr. Demento's Christmas Novelties album. it's hard to be songs like "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" and "It's Christmas At Ground Zero". :D

I think Bing Crosby sings it: "Meli Kamiki Maka." I love that song.

Anything by Ray Charles is also usually pretty good.

Tony Bennett has a good one, too.

Gary Hoey - "Ho Ho Hoey"

It's the best instrumental christmas album, especially if you love guitar.

OK, not all Christmas music sucks...this album is great! Christmas music played this way is excellent.

I saw this thread and was wondering how long till someone brought up Clay's album! I just didn't know it would be in such a positive way! Good for you Ryan!

Don't pass out when you read this guys, but actually, Clay's isn't my ALL TIME favorite Christmas album! It's extremely enjoyable, mind you, but not my fav! I would have to say that Kenny Chesney's All I Want For Christmas Is A Real Good Tan would have to be my favorite, with an old Amy Grant one a close second, Clay's new one, 3rd.

My favorite Christmas song overall is "Hark the Herald Angels Sing"

Favorite recording is "Little Drummer Boy" by David Bowie and Bing Crosby, Manheim Steamroller is pretty good, Bruce doing "Santa Claus is Coming...." and I had this CD called "Christmas in Manhattan" that I picked up at Target. This was a great piano/jazz CD of Christmas tunes

BTW - Bowie rules!!
