that 16-15 win over washington in november of 2000. i was right there watching get as excited as he did yesterday. the guy always made me feel important to the team as a cardinals fan. i just remember how refreshing it was to see him standing on the bench playing to crowd after that game - a distinct change from no emotion tobin. i wish him all the best!

The locker room footage after the win in Philly in 2001. That was classic Mac.

After the win against the Cowboys last year, there was footage of him walking through a SDS tunnel with Bill Bidwill and both were jubilant. It was a great shot.

McGinnis running up into the stands last year after a win (can't remember what game).

Those are the 3 that stuck with me.

My personal Mac moment was the summer of 99. The Cards were in Tucson for a mini camp(Tobin was still head coach). My wife and I attended an event at a local bar/grill. They were auctioning off items for charity. I bid and won a Fredrickson game worn helmet that the team autographed for me. Along comes Coach Mac who not only signed my helmet but remembered me and my wife from the 98 Vikes Playoff game and invited me over to his table to meet his wife and friends. He thanked us for being such fans. I'll never forget that. He truly was a great guy! He always made a point of thanking us fans on the radio after games...especially the fans at the games.

Meeting Coach Mac and talking to him at the start of camp in
2000. I live in Dallas and with Mac being from Texas had a nice
ten minute conversation with him about high school, family and
how I became a Cards fan living in Dallas. The great thing about him is he remembered by name and where I was from on my
next two visits to camp. He is a great man who cares about people. Good Luck Coach mac!!!
