Fickell to coach first 5 Ohio St. games (AP)

Ohio State has promoted linebackers coach Luke Fickell to assistant head coach, and he will run the team the first five games of the 2011 season while Jim Tressel serves a suspension for NCAA violations. Athletic director Gene Smith announced the move on Wednesday. Fickell, a former Ohio State player, is in his 10th year on the staff.
