Really liked to see the pride and fight the D'backs showed in the Dodgers game and for the past month or so of the season. The D'Backs at the beginning of the season would of tucked their tails between their legs and gotten bullied by the Dodgers, probably even lost the game. But Haren and Drew showed some grit and didn't take what the Dodgers were dishing out.

Call me crazy, but I'm optimistic that this team could go on a Colorado Rockies type of tear and make things interesting.

We have a lot of players that play with heart- Oeltjen, Roberts, Reynolds, we have the Venezuelan connection in Romero, Parra and Montero, and then the smooth criminals in Upton and Drew. Really liking this team, just wish we had a legitimate first baseman.

Wish more people checked the DBacks forum...

All those young players have personal incentives to play hard and the veterans remaining are the kinds of players you want in your locker room. If nothing else, this team is suddenly very easy to root for.

This all started with the Reynolds call out. Boy, has he backed up his talk and the team has responded by raising their games. If we can keep the pitching staff intact even with potentially losing Davis, sign a 1B, bring in some relievers, continued development of the recent call-ups, and re-stocking the farm (this draft class is a nice start) we should be fine.

It was great to see them fight like that last night.

Good crowd last night too (I went) - lots of Dodger fans, of course, but the Dback fans weren't letting them turn it into Dodger Stadium.

Roberts is NOT an outfielder, though :)

Im hoping the D'backs can go on a little run and finish the season at .500 or better, right now they're only 9 games under.

I think this team has it in them. Call me crazy, but I am starting to think that I want to see Ojeda optioned to AAA rather than Ryal or Oeltjen when Upton returns from the DL.

Why stop at .500, we are only 11.5 games out of the WC haha.
