1st and 2nd downs we bring pressure and no gain - 3rd down we give the qb all kinds of time - seemingly happy to play patty cake and try to bat the ball down - result first down. Do we learn - hell no; same thing 1st and 2nd for nada - then lets give the qb enough time for something to develop down feild...the bllod was in the air....why not put the stake in the heart - show your d you have some faith in them...Get some form of a pass rush in those two situations and the game is over cards win...not get given the game by a GHB junkie.

To me it looked like we brought pressure on every down.. we just rarely get to the QB

Sadly this has been a trademark of Cardinal defenses for oh....15 years.

I thought the defense would be so much more than it has been so far. I even had them on my fantasy team.. I have since dropped them.

70 plays into the game I have a small amount of understanding of the situation.

There is no "final drive" if our offense could get a first down, or complete a slant route.

There is no "final drive" if DRC doesn't ...... well, I still can't understand that bad call.

How about we field a punt like a professional football team as well ?

Blaming the players who were on the field for 70 plays, and who made a goal line stand to win the game is a tad ridiculous.

The way AW plays the pass now, it is as if there is a hole there whether he blitzes or not. Might as well send him.
