Just started using it last week. My favorite UCLA basketball site was hanging repeatedly with IE and when I complained they said get Firefox it doesn't happen with it. True, hasn't hung once since.
Today I ran a quick scan with spyware doctor(not a full scan) and it found 133 items on my computer! None of them labelled dangerous mind you but all sorts of adware and stuff. So there's clearly some security setting I have on ie that I need to duplicate on Firefox. I downloaded one plugin that says it blocks scripts and things like that. So far it just means when I try to login to fidelity to check my IRA I have to click on temporary enable scripts or I can't login.
Any recommendations on what is the best security plugin to be running on FF? Also, I have 3.6, 3.7 is there but when I start to download it I get a warning that it will disable 2 functions of Norton which I don't want to do without knowing is that good or bad?
