Right now, Utah, Boise and TCU meet the BCS eligibilty requirement (top 12, or top 16 but ahead of at least one BCS conference high ranker).

A couple Questions
Who in the top 10 will fall out at the end of the year?
Many of the top 10 teams play each other. Oklahoma State will probably lose to Oklahoma, Texas Tech will most likley lose as well, and I still think Texas will win the big 12. Penn State plays Ohio State. Any losses by a top 10 who alreayd has a loss should put them out of the top 10.
Who outside the top 10 can get in?
TCU makes a strong case if they win out and their only loss is at Oklahoma. LSU may get back into the mix, but they would have to get some huge wins.
What Non BCS School crashes the party?
A Non BCS team has to be in the top 12 to get into the BCS. Utah is currently 11 and Boise State is 12. I'm not so sure both make it in, so Boise State as to hope Utah trips up against TCU or BYU. Wins against both of those teams would give them a better strength of schedule. TCU has a chance to jump back into the picture with a win over Utah as well. Tulsa or Ball State will probably not get high enough in the rankings unless a few more teams lose a few games.

So much for SEC dominance.

Go Boise. Win some BCS bowl money then please dump that horrible blue field. The games there are almost unwatchable.

I know the BCS is a formula generated device, but it is laughable. 4 of the top 8 from the Big 12 is a glitch. They will eventually play each other and sort it out, but the rest of the teams have an uphill fight until that happens.

Pete Carroll already publicly complained USC is too low, I guess that's his job to complain but maybe he should stop losing to mediocre Pac 10 teams.

Still the way it looks if USC wins out they have a reasonable shot at winding up in the top 4 maybe even top 2.
