Are they going to implement that this coming season?

Why does this remind me of Cyberball?

As long as they don't bring in the critical ball, that sounds good to me.

Ok flame away.

Cyberball rocks! I used to be really really good at it. Actually competed in some tournaments at Video Round-Up in Scottsdale.

Just gimme a Titanium RB and it's on, baby!

And what gives with those uniforms? Is that Jerry Jones' idea of making Cowboys fans forget about Emmitt-Aikman-Irvin?

They are going to try it out in pre-season. It costs 300K to 500k to install and the bulbs are 10k but they last 10 years. The lasers are the type of lasers that wont make you blind if they hit you in the eye. They said that they would have chain gangs present if the lasers went out.

The players in the pics are actually Dallas Arena Football team, the company got them to get their pictures taken so they could present it to the owners when they were here last week.

I like it! I'm curious to see it work live.

I think the "1st down marker" they put on TV is great!

I don't like it. By having the F.D. line visible to everyone, it means players don't need to have that "field awareness" anymore. Stupid reason, I know, but thats my reason. Flame away.

I don't like the idea, the players should not be able to see the 1st down marker. It takes the whole excitement of measurements away. I like how the ref says 1ST DOWN! right after the measurements.

I'm pretty sure right after the laser idea we will soon have some sort of GPS device implanted in the football.

It would nice if we had some sort of football cam also.

yeah, imagine having a small camera on the football, that would be really psycho. I mean the ball is travelling, then all of a sudden, someone running face first into your living room.

What?
I like the football cam idea! It would need some type of gyroscope though or you would be getting a dizzying spiral picture. Dramamine doesn't go well with beer so we will have to work on that.

Also, didn't it say the laser would not be visible on the feild?

I think the laser thing is kinda cool, but I agree with mdisquo. It takes away some of thinking recievers and Qb's have to do.

What would Madden have to talk about? Wait maybe it is a good idea!

I dont mind having the fans being able to see the laser line. I dont want the players to depend on it; they have to know where they are on the field at every second.
