Matt Stajan broke a tie with 4:17 left and the Calgary Flames beat the Vancouver Canucks 7-4 on Saturday night to win the Western Conference playoff series 4-2. Calgary will face the Anaheim Ducks in the second round. The Flames last advanced beyond the opening round in 2004 when they reached the Stanley Cup final and lost in seven games to Tampa Bay. Michael Ferland and Jiri Hudler each scored twice, and Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau added goals for Calgary.
