pretty solid flick. thought Zemeckis relied a little too much on a well-worn soundtrack that he didn't need, and there was one big kinda stretch there at the end, but overall, for a big-studio movie, this was a really solid piece of work.

I love the movie if you can kind of overlooked the language and some nudity. Great story and morals as drinking will cost you!

Excellent flick. The plane crash sequence was very well done and extremely intense. The story of a functioning alcoholic was done better than just about anything I have seen on the screen. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Great movie. Washington was his amazing self and John Goodman was Classic!

Agreed. Don Cheadle was excellent as well.

Yeah, the only other film that comes to mind that does it as well is The Lost Weekend.
