Shane... you're slippin'

24-17 Vikings in a close one..... of course.

I think Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin both take advantage of our missing starting FS.

I would list the amount of sacks for the Vikes but I do not have calculator handy :D

the only possibility that can save us...Powell shocks the NFL, really is a stud, and rushes for 200 yards...ok, but I can dream LOL

If it were at home I'd say we win for sure but there we just don't seem to play well.

I keep seeing people say Harvin is the best overall player in the NFL, he's good at several things but he averages 11 YPC, 1 TD receiving. He's a good runner a great KOR and a good possession WR.

But that doesn't mean they don't have a clearly better offense than us right now.

Key to the game is get ahead so we don't have to throw so much.

I think we can win but my guess is 20-13 Vikings. Going to need turnovers and maybe a big punt return to win it.

Do these idiots even try to watch what happenned???

The Arizona Cardinals' suspect pass protection was partially responsible for the loss of their starting quarterback last week. [No it wasn't... you idiot. He was trying to run, got tackled, and injured]

The injury to Kevin Kolb gives John Skelton another shot at QB.
Skelton takes over for the struggling Cardinals on Sunday when they visit the Minnesota Vikings, who are looking to open 4-0 at home.

Kolb, who assumed Arizona's starting quarterback position in Week 1 when Skelton suffered a sprained ankle, injured his ribs while being sacked in last Sunday's 19-16 overtime loss to Buffalo. [what???] The Cardinals, losers of two in a row following a surprising 4-0 start, said Kolb will be out for "an unspecified period of time."

Vikes are 73% favorites... ouch!
that's a good sign. I think we only won 1 game when we were favored. But won every one we weren't

16-13 cards. Skelton puts together one big scoring drive. Mostly thanks to William Powell. Our D/STs put us in position for the 3 FGs. Powell rushes for 100+ as he earns "Player of the Game" honors. Wash forces a fumble in the red zone that we fail to capitalize on. The refs will be the worst we've seen since the regulars came back

??? the line absolutely gets at least partial blame for both QBs' injuries. He wouldn't look to scramble so much if he could stand in the pocket for more than .4732 seconds

24 -21 cards
feely comes through again at the end of regulation and powell has a respectable day close to a hundred yards

peterson breaks his first td of the season

the o line plays a little better but still gives up 4 or 5 sacks
skelton does just enough to get us the win

but sunday evening we stand at 5 and 2

Cards usually do the opposite of what we would expect, ie the Pats and the Rams. Seems like we shocking the world is more likely this weekend. "Just when we thought they were dead," might be the headline on Monday.

There is a guy I cant stand who is a Viking fan... he is going to be insufferable if we lose. And I dont feel good about this game. We stink in that stadium, Jarred Allen is probably tearing holes in his boxers just thinking about our tackles...

I think we find out what direction this team is heading in in this game. We normally take a butt whoopin in Minny. If we show up and win this game I think the teams confidence will soar. Cards 24 Vikes 21.

I'm torn with this game. Skelton isn't Johnny Unitas but he's a capable QB. He's heads and shoulders better than Anderson and Hall were and I'm convinced that if Skelton and not Anderson were anointed the starter in 2010 our record would not have been 5-11(of course we don't get PP so I digress). That said, our offensive line scares me but Powell looks like a capable back. If he can gain 70 yards behind this line he's no slouch. So this brings us to passing and Whiz is going to keep things simple for Skelton which is both good and bad. But Minny's defense is every bit as good as ours so I don't see us putting up a lot of numbers. I see us scoring 20 tops but 17 is more realistic.

As for Minny, Christian Ponder certainly isn't the 2nd coming of Fran Tarkenton but he's been impressive and his offensive line is heads and shoulders above us. But our defense is extremely tough so I don't see them scoring more than 17-20 either so I see this game 20-17 and I give Minny the edge for being at home.

I will never pick against the cards, but winning this game is going to be tough.

I do think the defense will at least keep the score respectable, and if "good Skelton" shows up, we have a puncher's chance to win.

Come on #19! I'm pulling for you!
