I saw a lot of people have been there lately - anyone drive? I heard at one point the Hoover dam is under road construction - is it faster to go thru Laughlin?

I'm also gonna put down $10 on the Cards to win it all!

so what are the odds for the bottom 5 teams? last time I checked we were a little above (i.e. slightly higher odds) cincy and houston and tied with like detroit ..since then marvin lewis has been hired and cincy may have moved up - and mariucci may have helped detroit.. have any updates? probably still like 200 - 1 or greater..

I don't think Hoover Dam is under construction, they're pulling over all traffic to look for anything suspicious.

Would someone with a cards hat on be considered suspicious? :D

Fastest way I have found to Vegas from phoenix is take I 10 west to Quartzite, then North AZ 95 to Parker; then West on 62 to Vidal Junction, then North on CA 95 to Needles, hop on I 40 West about 15 miles to CA/NV95, take that North through Searchlight to Vegas.

They have been doing alot of work on highway 93 from wickenburg to wikieup, but I dont think its faster to Vegas that way.

Went up last week. Took 60 and 93. Going north from Parker you darn near have the road to yourself. No trucks allowed. Nice ride. There is a check point about 4 miles south of the dam but they waved us thru. They were checking pick-ups and RV's more closely. Getting over the dam was no problem. In fact it was the easiest in years.

Good luck.

Thanks! They scheduled the Arizona game at the worst time (noon PT), I'm gonna have to haul butt to make it in time!
