Plot Outline: Three actors learn their respective performances in the film "Home for Purim," a drama set in the mid-1940s American South, are generating award-season buzz.

The new Christopher Guest flick opens today and stars many of the regular Guest players like his other films "A Mighty Wind", "Best in Show" and "Waiting for Guffman".

Watched this last night...it was pretty funny, but I thought Best in Show was much better.

This pokes fun at everything Hollywood, the Oscar buzz hoopla, etc.

Being in Hollywood myself, I have to say there were a few funny in-jokes, but this movie was pretty disappointing because compared to Best in Show and even A Might Wind, For Your Consideration was crazy boring.

Watched this last night. Some funny moments, but not up to Guest standards, IMHO.

Best in Show should be put in a time capsule. It was both great parody and the perfect snapshot of a piece of American culture. I think it would be hard to top a movie like that.
