According to a report Friday morning from On3's Joe Tipton, former Alabama Crimson Tide basketball player Davin Cosby is reportedly set to re-enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Cosby, a member of Alabama's 2023-24 Final Four team, was one of the players who transferred out of the Crimson Tide's program this past offseason, and recently spent the 2024-25 season in the ACC with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
While at Wake Forest, Cosby appeared in 17 total games with the Demon Deacons, nine of which he started. During this past season, Cosby averaged a career-high 5.6 points per game on 35.1% shooting from the field, 31.3% from three-point range, and 50% at the free throw line, along with 1.4 rebounds per game.
At Alabama, Cosby appeared in 22 games off the Crimson Tide's bench in 2023-24 where he averaged a combined 3.6 points per game on 36.6% shooting from the field. Cosby also shot 34.4% from three-point range, as well as 71.4% at the free throw line.
