WCAU sports director Vai Sikahema is a candidate for the athletic director position at his alma mater, Brigham Young University, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sikahema, 42, played football for the University until 1986 and is still "very connected" with BYU, where his son is a freshman.

Met him years ago when he bought a futon from me. Nice guy. I always remember him returning a kick for a TD and then punching the padding around the goalposts.
