I thought I would start a thread on how former UofA players are doing in the NBA this year. I feel bad for Bayless and Hill, they won't see much playing time. I hope Bayless gets traded because he showed last year when given the chance, he can play in this league.

Had Lute been healthy enough to coach the last 2 years he would have been able to ride off into the sunset with a probable Final Four team last season.

Jennings
Bayless
Budinger
Horne
Hill

Bayless and Jennings wanted to play together and there were plenty of rumors that Bayless was going to play 2 years uner Lute, but never even got to play 1. I really wish Lute could have had that team and retired on a high note, but what can you do?

I hate when UA people rag on Jennings. What was he supposed to do? Lute was gone, Simon was gone, Pastner was gone, our recruiting class was gone. Him going to Europe was the right move and I hate when UA fans get on the kid.

Portland needs to ship Bayless somewhere where they can actually use him. Hate to see him buried on the bench.

Channing Frye continues to show the doubters as he scored 18 points and pulled down 10 boards as the Suns beat the Wizards.

Also, Iggy scored 24 today, another hom hum game for him.

Iggy is amazing. A pro's pro. You never hear anything bad about this kid. In fact, you never hear much bad about any of Arizona's guys. People say Arenas is a little bit of a nut, and I think it's sad that the media bagged on him so much he retreated into his shell.

It drives me up the wall to think the Suns basically just gave away the pick that turned out to be Iggy.

Always been a Jennings fan and still will. He made the right choice by going to Europe, like it or not.

Another 15 for Chase tonight. We'll see how he fits in once McGrady comes back but it looks like he's got a place somewhere in the NBA.
