When the Dallas Cowboys announced their 2015 first-round pick Byron Jones would be moving from safety spot back to cornerback, there were of course big implications. Leading up to the night he was drafted, many questioned where he fit best. Jones played safety as a freshman and sophomore at Connecticut and then shined as a junior and senior at cornerback. The Cowboys would draft Jones at No. 27 and he would go on to play every position in the secondary his rookie season. Eventually the team tried him as a true centerfielder for his second year.
