Colorado true freshman wide receiver Adrian Wilson was one of three Buffaloes to enter the transfer portal when it opened Wednesday. Wilson's time in the portal did not last long, as he had already found a new home less than a day later.

Wilson announced he is committing to North Carolina and Bill Belichick. The Tar Heels are Wilson's fifth commitment before playing a single collegiate game. He initially committed to TCU before switching to Oregon, then Arizona State, before ultimately ending up at Colorado this spring.

Wilson, a four-star recruit from Pflugerville, Texas, was passed on the depth chart by fellow freshman Quentin Gibson and Quanell Farrakhan Jr. There appeared to be a role for Wilson on the 2025 team after the departures of Travis Hunter, Jimmy Horn Jr., LaJohntay Wester and Will Sheppard. But now, Wilson will look to be a key piece for Belichick's revamped Carolina squad.

Colorado has added wide receivers Sincere Brown and Joseph Williams this offseason, and seems to be set at wide receiver going into the fall.

The transfer portal will remain open until April 25, and Deion Sanders and the Buffs should be active participants.
