Eric Stokes is ready for the Las Vegas nightlife.

Or more specifically, he's looking forward to eating late at night, something he desired while in Green Bay.

A Packers first-round pick in 2021, Stokes signed with the Las Vegas Raiders this week on a one-year, $4 million contract.

At his introductory press conference on Thursday, Stokes was asked about coming to Las Vegas from Green Bay.

"Green Bay is different," Stokes, 26, said. "I love Green Bay, I love Green Bay. But after about 10 o'clock there’s nothing else to eat in Green Bay. I’m really excited for the food options here that I could show my big back activities. So, I just can’t wait."

Stokes' once promising career ended without a second contract in Green Bay.

He played in 16 games as a rookie with 55 tackles, 14 defended passes and an interception. But injuries and a lack of productivity was the story for the remainder of his Packers tenure. The Georgia product missed the final eight games in 2022 with a foot injury. Then, a hamstring injury limited him to just three games in 2023.

Stokes played in all 17 games in 2024 but he failed to have a pass breakup or interception. And with his rookie deal expiring, the Packers moved on from their 29th overall pick in the 2021 draft.

Stokes didn't have a pass breakup or interception since that standout rookie season.

The Packers replaced Stokes in free agency with cornerback Nate Hobbs, who comes from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Hobbs, you've been warned, Green Bay is not Las Vegas, if you didn't know.
